Bicycle Dog Basket?

I'm considering putting a bike rack and bicycle on the rear of my campervan.

It seems like a good idea but i travel with a small Jack Russell dog when i go abroad so am looking for a solution so i can include him on any bike rides.

Ideally I want some kind of basket to attach onto the front of the bike.

Any solutions welcome I can seem to find much.

Are you looking for something like this? I like this one because it has a leash inside so that if your dog gets overexcited, he can't jump out.

The company is in the US, but they do ship internationally. They also seem to have a deal with a company called My American Shopper that will purchase it on your behalf and ship it to you (possibly less expensively?).

What Wallie posted is brilliant. I have a friend who just has a white basket like the old fashioned ones kids bikes used to have on the front of hers for her dog. She clips the leash to the handlebars. She has one of those retractable leashes that can be locked at different lengths.
