Ford Transit Self Build Campervan Project

I've just uploaded a ton of photos from my self build transit van camper project. (Hybrid's Album: Project Camper - Ford Transit Minibus Conversion - Travel Fans)

Initially it took me just over 3 months to complete followed by changes to it here and there as ive used it and worked out the kinks.

It's set me back well over £10,000 but has been worth every penny, just got back from a trip from the UK to Greece and it served me very well.

I'm just about to add a new fridge as the current one doesn't cope in very hot climates and some extra storage in the form of a roof box. Possibly a bike rack too.

If anyone has any questions about the build then fire away id be more than happy to help.

I'd also love to see others vehicles self build or not so get some pictures up in the gallery!

Wow, that's an awesome amount of work your took on transforming that van from a minibus to a extremely functional camper.

You should be very proud of what you have achieved and I'm sure you will have many a happy memory, later in life, of your wonderful travels in your custom made home on wheels.

Aw, the link isn't working! The photos you posted here look great though. I'm very impressed. I can't believe you have a sink in there.

Thank you! I've fixed the link, theres a whole lot more in there over a sink, try a toilet and shower etc.

I've just updated the album, recent additions include rear ladder, fridge/freezer, fan roof vent and other odds and ends to make it more 'dog proof' lol.
